1. Traditional Serbian cuisine, with something for every taste

Serbian and Vojvodina home cooking: Bey’s soup (begova čorba), local starters and cheeses, veal baked under the sač (an iron bell lid covered with embers), charcoal grill, fresh fish and squid. The menu lists 128 dishes, so a table where everyone likes something different is easy to please.

2. Lamb and pork roasted on the spit over beech wood, fresh from late morning to late evening

Our spits turn over beech embers all day long, so the lamb and young pork are always freshly roasted and hot, whether you come for lunch at noon or dinner at ten. Order by the portion or by the kilo.

3. Spit and sač masters with over 20 years of experience

Spit roasting and the sač can’t be rushed. Our masters have been doing it for more than two decades: they know how much beech wood the fire needs, when the spit should turn slower and how long the veal stays under the lid. Behind them is a professional kitchen and a team that knows its craft.

4. A wide choice of food, wine and drinks

Next to 128 dishes, the drinks list has 133 items: Serbian and international white, red and rosé wines, homemade rakija (fruit brandy), premium spirits, beer, juices and coffee. Ask your waiter for a wine to match the lamb.

5. Vegetarian, vegan and Lenten (posno) options

Not eating meat, or fasting? You will still eat well: celery schnitzel in a sesame crust, wild mushroom risotto, couscous with beetroot, fresh salads, and Orthodox Lenten dishes during fasting periods. Tell your waiter what you don’t eat and the kitchen will adapt the dish.

6. Excellent homemade desserts

To finish: sour cherry pie, apple pie, walnut pie, lava cake, chocolate coconut cake or pancakes, with or without ice cream. Coffee or tea alongside.

7. A unique, spacious interior, comfortable chairs and quiet music

A large hall under a brick dome with a chandelier, a small hall with a stone wall and tamburica instruments, wood and warm light. There is plenty of room, the chairs are comfortable and the music is soft, so you can talk without raising your voice. With us, there is no rush.

8. A beautiful outdoor garden

The covered summer garden under the pergola is open from spring to late autumn: for breakfast with coffee, a family lunch or long evenings with friends.
